I found this horrific video a couple of weeks ago from a teenager’s Multiply site. I’m saddened knowing that such evil exists. I would like to warn you that this video is extremely graphic and shocking.
It’s that time of the year for this amazing event! I had the privilege of spinning for Fight Gone Bad @ Bayou City Cross Fit Houston along with several hundred competitors in 2009. This year, we’re doing it again and I am very humbled and honored to volunteer for this years event…This event will be held September 25th 2010 @ Bayou City Crossfit Houston. I’ll be mixing live from 8am to Noon-ish! Club Anthems, House, Progressive, Hip-Hop & everything else that keeps the blood pumpin’!
Here’s more info from the Bayou City Crossfit website…
About Fight Gone Bad 5
Fight Gone Bad began as a fundraising event in 2006. From those humble beginnings and with the support of the CrossFit community, we’ve proven what a small, totally committed group of people can accomplish. The first four editions of Fight Gone Bad have raised a combined total of more than $2 million.Fight Gone Bad 5 opens its arms to benefit three charities this year: LIVESTRONG, Wounded Warrior Project and the CrossFit Foundation.
Fight Gone Bad 5 takes place on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 9:00am at Bayou City Crossfit. Registration starts at 8am.
Parking is available in front of our building and across the street at the church.
The event format is the Fight Gone Bad CrossFit format:
In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The event is in the 3 round format. The stations are:
- Wall-ball: 20 pound ball, 10 ft target. (Reps)
- Sumo deadlift high-pull: 75 pounds (Reps)
- Box Jump: 20″ box (Reps)
- Push-press: 75 pounds (Reps)
- Row: calories (Calories)
The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of “rotate,” the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

With the rise of technology in the Dj and Music business, it baffles my mind where this is all going. Pushing buttons? It looks cool, but that’s just going to suck!
So the other day, I was wondering if someone ever created a site about “douchebag” djs. Pretty funny stumbling into a few of them… I’m just glad I’m not in any one of them. Whew!
Oh, and I just found out that Dj Pauly D was nominated for America’s Best Dj 2010. WTF is that about? All hell would’ve broken loose if he won. Thank God!
